    A repo pick in the 🌱 wizard resolves itself (steer #29): the check endpoint auto-cuts the worktree through the same rails and the form adopts the path — zero extra clicks; failures are honest + retryable; the plain door stays deliberately explicit. Worktree homes mirror ~/git/// (steer #30) with the one-law policy line in the docs. Dialog polish (steer #31): compact segmented role pair + outside-click close with exact x-close semantics.

    Plan-selectable spawns in the 🌱 genesis dialog: the model picker groups by plan (registry-derived labels, credential-presence badges), one selection is a (provider, model) pair riding zcode-dispatch v1.0.25 --provider argv-safely, honest exit-6/exit-2 declines render exit-7 style, and the quota panel gains an availability-gated plan split over the usage ledger provider dimension.

    A pinned title alone no longer marks a session dispatcher-driven: the desktop’s own RENAME writes the same title_source, and renamed interactives were adopted into Running and then presumed-dead. Classification now demands a witness (ledger subject membership, the dispatcher’s title stamp, or a live driving signal); witness-less rows stay visible as INTERACTIVE-RENAMED, outside the lifecycle machinery and the lineage graph.

    Every time window keys on the ACTIVITY anchor (last message/part/turn_usage): rename/title-pin/archive bumps can no longer re-admit stale sessions to the 24 h view (steer #28).

    Every artifact that mentions a session links to it (roadmap Lane P1b).

    • Session-id linkifier in the shared markdown renderer: strict-shape sess_… tokens become relative ?session= deep links — escape-first, code stays literal, hostile URI shapes structurally impossible (charset excludes : /).
    • Every mention links through one landing contract (openDeepLink: unique-prefix resolve, window rescue, modal + family flash): doorbell/digest texts, steer target fallback, budget/question/genesis toasts, quota lane rows, override badges, dispatch strip jumps, question cards. URL deep links resolve 15-char doorbell prefixes.
    • The panel is the landing: both panel headers carry the ↗ ZCode (open-in-app) affordance.
    • PII-F1: literal no-buttons guard on the lineage pan tracker (releases can no longer re-pan on hover).

    Suite 358 green (17 new); Super-Linter green; fixture CDP 18/18 trusted-input legs.

    S-9: one shared escape-everything-first markdown renderer (fenced blocks with per-block ⧉ copy button + inline code, nothing else) on every agent-text surface — message bodies in both panels and both views, reasoning text, and the steer response tail. Node-harness unit suite pins safety and edge grammar; a grep-level audit test keeps every agent-text render site on the shared renderer.

    S-10: the prompt-area collapse toggle (⤓ next to ⤢) folds the prompt away for maximum chat size (~124 px back to the chat body); the steer status strip keeps rendering below it; state persists across reloads and poll re-renders (localStorage zdo-prompt-collapsed); folding rides the keepChatEnd scroll compensation.

    Gates: CDP fixture validation at 1177 px — 21/21 surface/copy checks (trusted-input copy with clipboard read-back), 14/14 collapse checks, 4/4 regression smoke incl. the v1.38.1 lineage node-click path; offline suite 341 green; Super-Linter station recipe green.

    Fixes PHH-V1 from the v1.38.0 validation: pointerdown on the stage captured the pointer unconditionally; on current Chrome a successful capture retargets the following click to the capture element, so every delegated .lnode click affordance (node→panel, aggregate expand, fold collapse) was dead under real input.

    • lgWantsCapture: capture only when the press is not on a .lnode (pure, unit-tested).
    • Node-start pans capture past the 5 px threshold instead.
    • Pan tracker on window level — drags track everywhere, mid-gesture capture engages even outside the svg.
    • Window-level drag end + per-pointerdown suppression reset.

    Trusted-input revalidation: 33/33 CDP legs green (Chrome 154) vs 5 defect-signature failures on v1.38.0; hasPointerCapture never true over a .lnode pointerdown; suite 334 green; Super-Linter green.

    Mission 1 (P1 roadmap lane): the lineage graph becomes an interactive SVG forest — pan (drag), zoom (wheel, to cursor, clamped) and reset (double-click / ⌖ fit), all by viewBox mutation only (no DOM re-render per frame); role / status / time-window filters recompute client-side; families past 12 sessions fold their non-running members into ONE aggregate node (running sessions always render individually); the replay scrubber reconstructs the fleet as of a past instant from what the DB + ledgers retain, with every approximation labeled. New read-only endpoint: /api/lineage/replay?at= (7-day honest horizon).

    Mission 2 (release-recipe truth): the asset convention is pinned to the cross-lane standard — versioned filename zcode-dispatch-observatory-vX.Y.Z.tar.gz, unversioned inner prefix (exactly git archive --prefix=zcode-dispatch-observatory/). The v1.37.0 asset was replaced retroactively to match. The README quick-start and verification recipe now document exactly this and were verified end-to-end against this release.

    Ends the install-target name duality (PFV-1/PFV-2 from the v1.36.0 round).

    • install.sh ExecStart anchor: installing to a directory other than the rendered unit's ExecStart dir is refused (exit 3) before anything is written; --allow-target-change marks the deliberate repoint of a live install.
    • Short-name target warning: a target basename of exactly zcode-observatory earns a loud stderr warning naming the canonical target zcode-dispatch-observatory.
    • Stale-sibling warning: after install, a populated short-name sibling beside the target is reported loudly.
    • README: one-canonical-target section (file names vs install dirs — the restart script's FILENAME is never a target hint), install-triple + sibling verification recipe, release URL bumped.
    • Tests: 8 hermetic fake-HOME rigs executing the real install.sh (tests/test_install_guard.py); suite 326 green.

    The station migration (canonical dir repoint, unit + symlink, stale short dir removal) follows this release.

    Every genesis refusal now offers the correct home automatically (steer #18/#20): the MANDATORY worktree door for project paths — context lives in the worktree — and the isolated plain door for project-less refusals. New endpoints /api/genesis/check and /api/genesis/worktree (freshness-fetched base, honest 503/409, argv-inert hostile input, rate-capped), a redirect audit journal, the modal affordance with [Create & use], plus the VEE-1/VEE-4/VEE-7 validation follow-ups and a stale-Review-button product fix found by the E2E.
