  S-9: one shared escape-everything-first markdown renderer (fenced blocks with per-block ⧉ copy button + inline code, nothing else) on every agent-text surface — message bodies in both panels and both views, reasoning text, and the steer response tail. Node-harness unit suite pins safety and edge grammar; a grep-level audit test keeps every agent-text render site on the shared renderer.

  S-10: the prompt-area collapse toggle (⤓ next to ⤢) folds the prompt away for maximum chat size (~124 px back to the chat body); the steer status strip keeps rendering below it; state persists across reloads and poll re-renders (localStorage zdo-prompt-collapsed); folding rides the keepChatEnd scroll compensation.

  Gates: CDP fixture validation at 1177 px — 21/21 surface/copy checks (trusted-input copy with clipboard read-back), 14/14 collapse checks, 4/4 regression smoke incl. the v1.38.1 lineage node-click path; offline suite 341 green; Super-Linter station recipe green.
