Owner

Six owner findings + the RRR F-1 fold, one family — through the whole steer lifecycle the owner’s words are never lost, never silent, always honest.

  • S1 (finding #5): ONE copy-button language — the code-block ⧉ button is the standard everywhere; the old white clipboard clunker is retired (attribute-scoped CSS, non-copy action glyphs keep their treatment).
  • S2 (finding #2): queued steers render VISIBLY in the transcript surfaces — GET /api/session/<sid>/steers/waiting composes in-flight/queued/parked representations; the drawer/modal render a WAITING item with prompt + age, marked queued-not-yet-delivered.
  • S3 (finding #4): terminal-failed steers show FAILED with a ONE-CLICK RETRY — POST /api/session/<sid>/steer/retry re-fires the SAME promptFile and settles the old attempt (retriedBy).
  • S4 (finding #8): the died-at-starting watchdog — Popen-truth finalize at the prune seam + file-truth scan (pre-session phases past grace, no receipt; turn-running never file-finalized); the strip renders the died display with Retry, never a terminal marker on an un-final state.
  • S5 (finding #9): kill-cause dignity — the master kill-log’s READ side (master-kills.jsonl, {sid, when, reason}); a presumed-dead row/card shows the cause.
  • S6 (finding #12): unread-while-open — content that ARRIVES while the surface is open renders-and-reads (markIfNewerWhileOpen, margin-guarded); no close/reopen ritual.
  • S7 (RRR F-1): interrupt_probe’s lock diagnostics are no longer dead writes — the specific reason wins where it is the truth, rides as lockDiagnostic everywhere else.

Evidence: full offline suite green (1150 tests incl. 38 SSS legs); live rigs — 26/26 API gates + 29/29 CDP gates (copy spot-check, drawer waiting visibility, failed-retry roundtrip, SIGKILL died-starting finalization, kill-cause row, unread-while-open bobble).
