    Stillness made legible — the trust foundation.

    • Y1 per-lane health lines: every lane (family root) derives WORKING / RESTING-WITH-WHY / STUCK from the observatory's own evidence (open expectations, queue entries, running rows, bells); rest is an EXPLAINED state, an unknown reason is itself an honest value.
    • Y2 the header fleet chip: fleet: N working · M resting · K stuck · bells healthy — census-as-controls; stuck rides the loud class.
    • Y3 the tab-title pulse: (2▶ · 3🔔) running + owner-unread, clean base at zeros, existing cadence.
    • The acceptance, both ways: healthy idle unmistakably healthy; a wedged lane unmistakably sick.

    Also fixes the UUU quota-tip harness wall-clock leak (red on every run an hour past its fixture anchor).

    Affordance symmetry (item-8 completion + #17), state grammar (#14 + the compound sibling), and the VVV fleet-scope unread — three owner-drawn families, one polish round. Every failed steer card carries BOTH affordances (Retry only where the prompt file survives; Dismiss always, settled durably). resolveRowState is the ONE state grammar (idle rows say idle, never a defaulted running; episodes stay separate labeled chips). A fleet brain's belled reports stop invoicing the owner's unread (live: B² 60 → 0) while genuine owner conversation still counts. Suite 1286 green; Super-Linter green on the final tree.

    The S-43 gate learns the external mother’s lane: an external orchestrator’s bridge-born workers never count owner-unread unless the owner personally conversed in them. Identification from evidence (dispatched-lineage orphan roots), bridge-resume receipt windows incl. in-flight rows, usage-ledger pairing that heals rotated receipts, album-backed durability, and the 📤 delivered-to-audience indicator distinct from owner-unread everywhere.

    W1 (V4): the kill-cause composition survives the terminal state — the terminal gate keys on the pre-terminal activity basis (blind to every completed_at), so the hammer free path relief write can no longer evict the cause. Two-phase rig proves attach-in-flight → retain-through-⊘ on the real seams.

    W2 (V5): README MD018 line-start trap fixed + full docs sweep (one more of the class fixed in ROADMAP); station lint six lanes green on the final tree with an MD018 tripwire.

    The quota panel tells the truth in three registers.

    U1 - the honest pace: every pace projection derives from a RECENT ROLLING burn window (default 30 min) instead of the quota window average - idle hours no longer dilute a full-speed fleet (the owner calibration: old math 3.29 h, pace math 1.65 h). Self-labeled on every surface (at pace (30 min) / window avg); BOTH views on a meaningful divergence; the real windows slope monitor-API samples, the manual model scans model_usage.

    U2 - the honest chip (finding #14): running renders ONLY on genuinely running rows (honest_turn_status + honestStatus on every surface).

    U3 - the honest reset clock (finding #15): day-scale-aware wording - HH:MM same-day, weekday on later days, date at six-plus days; humanized delta in tooltips; 7d resets never imply same-day.

    U4 - the TTT F-1 fold: a cancelled row keeps its master-kill cause (calm skull chip) through the terminal state.

    Six owner findings + the RRR F-1 fold — through the whole steer lifecycle the owner’s words are never lost, never silent, always honest.

    • S1: ONE copy-button language (the ⧉ standard everywhere; the 📋 clunker retired)
    • S2: queued steers render VISIBLY in the transcript surfaces (waiting items with age, marked queued-not-yet-delivered)
    • S3: terminal-failed steers show FAILED with a ONE-CLICK RETRY (re-fires the same promptFile)
    • S4: the died-at-starting watchdog (Popen-truth + file-truth finalize; the strip never marks an un-final state terminal)
    • S5: kill-cause dignity (the master kill-log read side dignifies presumed-dead rows)
    • S6: unread-while-open (content arriving on an open surface renders-and-reads)
    • S7: RRR F-1 fold (interrupt_probe lock diagnostics reach the owner)

    Evidence: 1150 offline tests green (38 SSS legs) + live rigs 26/26 API and 29/29 CDP gates.

    The emergency interrupt 🔨 failed silently every time. Root cause: the detector required a turn_usage running row that the app-server only writes at/after turn END — every genuinely-running session was refused by construction. v1.74.0 takes the honest evidence classes (turn-row / churn / driven), adds the stuck-row FREE path (the app-server's own user-cancel shape), the /proc starttime identity hop, trailing-slash cwd normalization, and visible feedback for every outcome — refusal reasons, rate-limit seconds, the 💀 chip as a one-click button.

    Every genesis birth now gets an automatic generation name: ` · gen-N>.

    • N = born + in-flight + 1 per spawn family (scratch-root aware; pre-law homes fork their own family). Born = *-result.json with a sessionId; queue-ACTIVE entries close the in-flight window; cancelled entries never burn a number; stillborn numbers are honestly reusable.
    • Computed inside the lane-reservation critical section — concurrent same-family births draw distinct Ns; a named birth consumes a generation too.
    • Server-side default: empty titleName rides --title; an explicit title_name still wins verbatim. The VV-3 mission-derived default is retired; genesis_derive_title stays exported + unit-tested.
    • Dispatcher stamp contract untouched — pinned DB title <cwd-basename> · <repo-basename> · gen-N (<tag>), deck shows <repo-basename> · gen-N (<tag>) after the worktree-prefix strip.
    • 🌱 form prefill: new read-only GET /api/genesis/name?cwd=… + debounced genesisNamePropose() — fills only an empty/unmodified-by-user NAME field; a typed name always wins.
    • POST /api/session/create without titleName inherits the default (pump, schedules, templates).

    No-touch: existing session names are never rewritten (no --retitle, no UPDATE session; rig-proven byte-identical). GENESIS_SPAWN_SCRIPT/genesis_spawn_argv zero diff hunks.

    Gates: G1 rig 11/11 (incl. CDP form-prefill leg), G2 live-family read-only cross-check (album-matching), G4 full suite 1112 OK + Super-Linter green (lane caught a real R1735 first — tripwire proof), freeze-safe fake-HOME install triple, release-asset determinism (make-release ≡ git archive).
