The laboratory lane (.forgejo/workflows/check.yml) is the only CI that runs anywhere: GitHub is at most a frozen mirror and no push mirror syncs to it (verified via the forge DB push_mirror table — the only configured push mirror is oss-oo/laboratory to codeberg).

While Actions stays enabled for the forge lane, Forgejo also picks up .github/workflows — and this original pins runs-on: ubuntu-latest plus marketplace actions, queuing zombie runs on every push (the documented ubuntu-latest zombie class). Removing it closes that root; the stale "GitHub keeps running the full suite" comment in the forge lane retires with it.
