Summary

Owner feedback on the new repository icon: the icon tile, duplicate glyph and action-bar motif are right, but the solid backdrop box is not. The icon now sits on a transparent canvas (512×512 RGBA, corners fully transparent) so it composes cleanly as an avatar on any surface.

Only .github/icon-src/avatar.svg and the rendered icon.png change; nothing else is touched.

Validation

• make check green; icon render verified deterministic.
• PNG verified RGBA with fully transparent corners and intact tile/glyph/bar pixels.
