Sign in to Claude Code straight from the popup (0.1.1).

  • While no Claude Code login feeds the applet (no data, or only Claude Desktop's samples) the pinned footer shows a full-width Sign in to Claude Code button.
  • Click: the helper's --print-cli lookup (PATH, user installs, Claude Desktop's bundled copy) finds the CLI, the default terminal runs claude auth login --claudeai; no CLI → setup guide, no terminal → manual hint.
  • A Gio.FileMonitor on the Claude Code credentials file refreshes the applet two seconds after the login is stored (15-minute watch, cleaned up on removal and by the first endpoint snapshot).
  • Repo agent instructions: AGENTS.md (+ CLAUDE.md import) and Claude Code skills for the live sync and the laboratory release chain.
  • QA_SOURCE=desktop capture switch to review the fallback state; version chain 0.1.1.

Validation: make verify (71 Python tests, 14 CJS suites incl. the new sign-in suite), isolated captures of the fallback state, live install on Cinnamon 6.6.9; independent review in progress.

Independent review of the 0.1.1 delta (no blockers):
- The login runs through /bin/sh and keeps the terminal open only when it
  fails; a double click within five seconds opens no second terminal and
  keeps the running watch and its pending refresh.
- The tooltip and docs disclose that a fresh sign-in replaces the logins
  the CLI stores and point expired logins to the opt-in renewal; SECURITY.md
  covers the button's CLI run.
- The menu signature follows the sign-in state; get_successful() for the
  helper; "~" in CLAUDE_CONFIG_DIR; the terminal-less hint names the
  sign-in guide; the desktop QA capture drops model history.
- Hardened tests: footer rendering, refresh/timeout/removal stop paths,
  destroyed guard, CLAUDE_CONFIG_DIR — all eight review mutants now fail.
- Agent docs: prettier operands, files.json mapping in the live-sync check,
  sha256sum --ignore-missing in the release skill.
