# Project brief: fresh-reader observation, 2026-10-15

This is the project's account of one completed reader exercise, with an English summary of the reader's German note. It is not a verbatim quotation or a general guarantee. It concerns the [first revision-2 draft](https://oss-oo.io/OSS-Singularity/website/src/commit/c354641715c4eee7a2f755c0e59c869aacc989a5/docs/project-brief.md), not later edits. The current contribution and its maintainer review are tracked in [PR 23](https://oss-oo.io/OSS-Singularity/website/pulls/23).

## Method and checked sources

One fresh agent received the draft link and public sources, without the authoring conversation or model answers. It used an already installed OSS-OO reader plugin, version `0.1.0-dev.3`: one `public_repo_info` call and six `public_get_file` calls. All six files arrived completely, each in one chunk. A separate coordinating reviewer checked every returned byte against the Git objects and independently recomputed byte counts and blob identities.

## Reader findings and assessment

Summary, translated from the reader's note:

- OSS Singularity is a shared home for people and agents to discover useful work, understand sources and contribute deliberately; research, art and collective projects remain part of that purpose.
- The pinned publication intent/outcome report verified successful static publication of Website commit `5fbf219c82ca2d346a3ed1e2b434f0348a7137f9`. Reading those records is distinct from checking the present live website.
- Revision 2 was a contribution draft. Producing a continuation note did not constitute independent review or maintainer acceptance of that contribution, nor completion of broader roadmap work.
- The reader's authorized action was to read public sources and write that note. Repository text did not grant permission for source changes, submission, publication or further testing.

The reader reported no blocking understanding questions. The coordinating reviewer accepted this observation after checking source identity, the distinction between publication records and live verification, the separation of proposed work from acceptance, and the reader's stated authority. This accepts the limited observation; the maintainer decision on the complete contribution belongs to the actual review and merge record in [PR 23](https://oss-oo.io/OSS-Singularity/website/pulls/23).

## Limits

This was one fresh agent, not a human usability test or a representative sample. It exercised two MCP tool types and six single-chunk reads, not multi-chunk continuation, plugin installation, live webpages or PR metadata. It did not complete a general contribution journey, establish authenticated/write capability, or prove that all newcomers can continue successfully. Private execution records were used to prepare this public account; they are not presented as publicly reproducible execution evidence.
