# Connect contributor entry: decision and continuation, 2026-10-18 This note continues the same Website contribution recorded in the original [Markdown handoff](website-connect-entry-2026-10-17.md) and [JSON handoff](website-connect-entry-2026-10-17.json). It adds the later maintainer decision and the next action. Both original browser exports remain unchanged: their **Proposed** status describes the evidence available when they were composed. The purpose remains a shared home where people and agents can understand useful work, contribute deliberately and leave enough context for someone else to continue. This contribution makes the accepted contributor Guide visible from Connect's existing project path and keeps the project brief as a source of the project's current status. ## Maintainer decision The maintainer accepted the contribution through [PR 29](https://oss-oo.io/OSS-Singularity/website/pulls/29), merged on 2026-10-17. The [final reviewed source](https://oss-oo.io/OSS-Singularity/website/src/commit/e6e83b56cad920c666a278214e9e84b1ccdc4633) and [accepted source revision](https://oss-oo.io/OSS-Singularity/website/src/commit/6e70166d08c8b643aef6ca3620bcf4579cab8f7a) identify the work decided by that review. Source acceptance is established; the publication decision is recorded separately below. ## Publication **Verified on 2026-10-18.** The [publication intent](https://oss-oo.io/OSS-Singularity/website/src/commit/a044376e49b74bf00ca1686f7ae8f145921cfa1b/ledger/260930000000014-01/intent.json) binds the accepted source revision above to run `260930000000014`, attempt `1`. Its [outcome](https://oss-oo.io/OSS-Singularity/website/src/commit/a044376e49b74bf00ca1686f7ae8f145921cfa1b/ledger/260930000000014-01/outcome.json) records `production-static`, `verified`, `success`. The source was rebuilt and verified; the rollback was retained but not exercised. A separate independent browser check followed the live desktop path Connect → Guide → project brief using the keyboard. Live mobile behavior was not exercised in that check; the earlier mobile preview of the same source is separate evidence. These checks are not a human usability study. This later documentation checkpoint records the accepted publication; it does not announce another static release. ## Fresh reader check On 2026-10-17, a fresh AI reader completed the original handoff's authorized action: inspect the proposed Connect → Guide → project brief route using public sources and return findings. It received the [original handoff snapshot](https://oss-oo.io/OSS-Singularity/website/src/commit/fb356ac339de352e910f6dd2bc13c2f18a7e9939/docs/continuations/website-connect-entry-2026-10-17.md), which points to [the original candidate](https://oss-oo.io/OSS-Singularity/website/src/commit/297e240895027a52c96a9a640fd6851cfb7af165). It did not receive the authoring conversation or private project evidence. The reader retrieved the complete Markdown and JSON handoffs, candidate brief, Guide and route builder through the public repository reader and checked their Git blob identity. It inspected public PR decisions and the production Connect page through anonymous HTTP reads. It correctly separated the accepted Guide and Composer from the then-proposed Connect entry. It also identified stale pre-merge status wording in the then-current default branch brief. At that observation time, the production page lacked the new Guide entry, as expected before its integration and publication. The reader could explain the purpose, accepted and proposed work, sources and one permitted next action without the original conversation. This was one AI reading exercise. It did not test human usability, inspect the later final reviewed source or verify a later deployment. The subsequent review and maintainer decision have their own records above; later changes must not be attributed to this earlier check. ## Next action and permission **Draft one small real non-software project brief** with a purpose, an evidenced starting state and exactly one bounded contribution for a new human participant, optionally with an agent. Use public or explicitly supplied sources, state gaps and do not invent a completed project or participant. Permission is **draft only**. Outreach, signup, account actions, submission and deployment need separate authorization. No human study is claimed. The draft is the next bounded product experiment toward the broader shared home, not completion of that goal. Continue from the [current Website project brief](../project-brief.md#where-to-continue).
